Which lens would be good for driving and casual hiking? It says Spectron4 might not be suited well for driving but the zebra and camel don't talk about driving. I drive to work daily and the sun is way too bright. I hike every weekend or so.

It would be nice if we were advised that numbers are limited at THE START of the drop. Seems the camel lenses are out of stock...again

Are Camel and Camelion the same thing? The Explorer 2 on Julbo's websight says camelion, but these say camel. Is there a difference?

jpsully77The Camel and Cameleon are the same lens. In the USA Julbo couldn't use the name Cameleon due to a trademark that has since expired. All the lenses moved to Cameleon and will eventually all be changed to REACTIV High Mountain 2-4.

SuhlHi Suhl, unfortunately not. We are not allowed to put anything less than a category 4 lens rating into any of our mountaineering sunglasses.

So I got an email saying that what I ordered is backordered and that they canceled my order and are issuing a refund. Pretty crappy way to conduct business if you ask me. I won't be ordering from this company again.

I'll be biking in NYC, so go with the Camels or the Zebra?

Mjrulz5Camel lenses let 5-20% light through and are polarized. Zebra lenses let 7-42% light through and are not polarized.
I assume with all the tall buildings there is a lot of shadows in NYC, so I would probably go for the Zebra lens in that case.

Just thought I'd share that of the 13 members who joined this drop so far, 11 have upgraded to the Camel lens.
