These are cool classic mountaineering glasses. While I'd wear them as a fashion items...may be when I'm hanging out with friends around a log fire after a day on the ski slope, I would never wear them when I'm actually climbing. Fortunately, Julbo offers more practical and modern glasses made with non-metal frames that are far more practically than these. For me, my beat-up Smith Optics wrap-around with polarized lenses are the go-to mountaineering glasses.

KarabitoOne nice thing about these is that the lenses are relatively flat allowing more options if replacing lenses especially with an rx including a substantial axis (astigmatism) which I have...but also different tints. More curved lenses like the ones we all prefer limit or prevent these options.
