Dang, bummed I just missed this drop. I recently received my order I placed with Juniper Ridge since they were offering a diffuser bundle. I've never messed with essential oils before but these are delightful and help me focus when I'm doing paperwork. I can't compare them to other essential oils, but I can say that with Juniper Ridge's stuff, you are paying a premium for their sustainability practices and for them to take care of their employees. That's a premium I'm happy to pay.
This seems like it's really expensive. I got a box of 16, 10ml each artnaturals essential oils for less then this. This is for 3, 5ml each. That is such a small amount of product for the cost.
I will say that the price per bottle is comparable to other top line essential oils, however I can't tell from the small blurb written about them if their quality is as good as say Young Living oils. Blends are often pricier than single oils, also.
Price seems exceedingly expensive for 5ml bottles unless I'm missing something. What makes these so much better than the gazillion oils available at twice the volume for the same or lower price?
SantiagoDracoNot much from a practical standpoint. From my understanding, these are 100% organic. All the plants used to make the oils are hand harvested from local forests/wild plants, rather than grown on a plantation specifically for the oils. They are also small batch production, which is the non practical explanation, but still a commonly used one.
As much as I would like to try this, I was severely disappointed with the solid cologne they sold on MassDrop. I also purchased sisklyour backpacker cologne made by Juniper Ridge from somewhere. I can't find it in my transaction history and may have purchased it under a different account. So, I have been disappointed with both the solid and liquid cologne I purchased from Juniper Ridge. The solid cologne barely has a scent to it and the scent isn't that pleasing. I've certainly never received a complement like I have wearing other colognes. I've also purchased (6) different solid colognes from Solid State and was also disappointed. The bottom line cologne scents are subjective and what one person loves another may despise.
I am done purchasing colognes online unless I smell them before purchasing. When that technology is available I will be back to buying online.
