will my Apple iPhone drive these IEM

Your iphone doesn't "drive" jack shit. The dongle does. The stock apple dongle is just fine for cheap and low end iems but it's not going to properly drive a good pair and IIRC it's limited to 24/96 output, as are most dongles for the iphone. You can get a good dongle for under 100 or a great one from 250-500 that's a bit larger and will drive anything up to planars.

Idk about you, but my iPhone XR can't drive any pair of IEM's and I usually have to get it going through a DAC of sorts to feel like I'm getting the most out of my streaming. Plus the Apple dongles don't seem sophisticated enough to really carry the signal to a pair of IEM's with more drivers than say an easy pair of Bose Pro earbuds.

China, and it has always been made in China, even the FDX1. I know people were saying these used to be made in Japan, but there is no evidence on the old boxes to suggest that.
