Don't be afraid of doing the mod yourself. Took me 2-3 minutes, with a pair of tweezers

I'm looking forward to receiving mine. Any tips on converting them to bluetooth? I know there are many companies that make bluetooth (straps?) to convert them to be wireless. But I'm unsure of what the best route is. Any tips would be most welcome!

Your best best is to use something like the ES100 by Radsone. Great battery life, has an app with EQ, and supports LDAC amongst many other features. Even the Fiio BTR3 and many other devices offer a superior experience nowadays. Unless you're aiming for a no wires experience, Shure, Westone, MEE, etc. all make a compatible Bluetooth cable. They're just expensive, don't support the latest codecs, and have poor battery life by comparison. But really, just get the ES100 and enjoy great sound quality. If you need more power, devices like the iFi xDSD can also power over ear cans as well if you're looking to have more flexibility. Though it does come at a higher cost.

This is a great IEM for a crazy low price. I bought them a few months ago from Japan on ebay as I did not want to wait until december delivery of the FX01. I think the sound signature is very similar to my HD800S, in IEM form.

I just bought and received FDX1. I think drivers of these two are identical. It would be interesting to know if the three different material nozzles of FD01 fits FDX1 (I think they should but I am not sure). Then the next interesting thing will be to look for buying just the nozzles. Do anyone know if it is possible?
