They come with spiral dots, silicone tips that are not so bad but I am using Dekoni bulletz for a better seal.

  • Manufacturer's 1-year parts and labor warranty (for USA purchases only)
this means that oversea purchase is not under warranty coverage?

In regards to the difference between the FDX1 and the FD01, it’s the three different nozzles, nothing else. As someone already posted, the mod is very simple to do if you want try it after buying the FD01. Then again, you may be happy with the stock version.

Don't be afraid of doing the mod yourself. Took me 2-3 minutes, with a pair of tweezers

Google: "jvc ha-fd01 mod", for the references to James444 work, at superbestaudiofriends.org or look up "HA-FDX1" on Drop, for the collaboration with JVC, to bring his work to the masses

I'm looking forward to receiving mine. Any tips on converting them to bluetooth? I know there are many companies that make bluetooth (straps?) to convert them to be wireless. But I'm unsure of what the best route is. Any tips would be most welcome!

This is a great IEM for a crazy low price. I bought them a few months ago from Japan on ebay as I did not want to wait until december delivery of the FX01. I think the sound signature is very similar to my HD800S, in IEM form.

I just bought and received FDX1. I think drivers of these two are identical. It would be interesting to know if the three different material nozzles of FD01 fits FDX1 (I think they should but I am not sure). Then the next interesting thing will be to look for buying just the nozzles. Do anyone know if it is possible?

This is James444's chart, for the unmolested HA-FD01 "filters": Titanium, Stainless & brass
