Yeah that’s a really great point and I think I should try some single dynamic driver headphones on a larger scale than I currently have to make a final estimation. I don’t think you should be pricing headphones based on the sound quality, the quality that you put out, I know that sounds counterintuitive but for example, just because a smart phone is the most useful tool ever created, doesn’t mean that all of a sudden they should be charging 5-15 grand for a smart phone, even though that would be its actual value if you think about how much it does. They could make an argument that amount of research and testing and other things were much more costly than the actual parts/sum, but tbh I feel like these boutique $2000/ $3000 charging companies are honestly just making money hand-over-fist and many of them have been exposed for this, so maybe that’s why I’m leaning more into thinking that they are just full of crap/overpricing. Yeah let’s go with that, 50 on red lol.

JVC warranties these and their other offerings here. The general problem items are collaborations, where Drop warranties and not the manufacturer.
