I'm 43, RARA is a physically different design, the spring/ and leaf ping is more quite. RARA is not the T1 clones.
It is very similar to 62g mx clear, more smooth.
43-cccIn image's left side is rara's stem ,and the right side is KBDFANS T1's stem,
the red line at T1's stem is the point where T1 create tactile
,but the black line at Rara's stem is where rara create tactile
43-cccI am sorry but cant see the difference. The black line seems to be arbitrarily drawn different from the red one. The bump looks same on both the stems. I dont see why t1 cant be tactile at the black line. Am i missing something? I have t1, maybe only after i try these will i be able to tell the difference.
43-cccHi would it be possible for you to somehow showcase these? maybe with a comparison of known switches .. preferable before the drop deadline - I think it would help your sales if people knew what the difference are how they sound and so on
43-cccAwesome, thank you so much for this and all the other information. One final question from me; will the switches come pre-lubed? Some tactiles are shipping with lube on the tactile legs and it's very poor quality and messy.
43-cccOne more thing, this force curve graph contradicts the description, which says the tactile event occurs at just 0.5mm (very high up) - the graph shows a tactile event between 1.5-2mm. Which is correct?
KethSide-by-side, the Zilent v2 are a much more rounded bump, but otherwise they're pretty similar. My favorite (silent) switch is probably the silent Sky stem in Gateron silent (yellow or clear) housing. They take some effort to make, but they're a little snappier than the Zilents and extremely quiet.
43-cccThank you, that makes them more attractive to me.
but it would be good to stem the comparison with V2 zealio and T1 switches, because those have a distinctly different feel.
Maybe the product description should be updated as well.
RominroninThe comparison with T1 switches is in the reply above.
It's not accurate to describe the hand feeling. It's better to have a real experience after purchase.
RARA has opened a group purchase in China. Chinese players have a good evaluation of RARA.
It's worth buying.
43-cccI know this post is almost 5 months old, but I wanted to know if you planned on a western release of the your Caramel and Nana switches? I collect switches and getting those in America is next to impossible
43-cccWhat can we expect to change in terms of feel and sound from the rara v2? I see that the top has been changed to polycarbonate. Would you say that it's an overall upgrade?
43-cccHello 43,
Thanks so much for taking the time to participate in the discussion about your switches. I'm sure there are many people who are grateful to learn more about the story behind them.
I notice that there are a number of 'RARA' switch currently under production again. These include the 'Shogoki' and RARA V2 switches.
I've also read elsewhere that the Everglide Jade uses a RARA stem, although I'm not certain about that. Do you think you might be able to clarify the matter for us? I was wondering if you could tell us whether Jades use the RARA, and also what other switches use the RARA stem?
