LEX8888I'll let you know about the keeping warm part after this week, but the not getting wet part works really well =P . Makes me wish i had pants made out of this stuff.
LEX8888If you wish to be warm, you will need a warm base layer as these are super thin raincoats that fold up and tuck into one of the side pockets. It is a quality product, though.
LEX8888I wore it for the first time in 'cold' weather today (~55F, 13C). I live in a windy city as well, so this was a perfect day to test.
I wore a button down shirt, an undershirt and the K-Way. The K-Way did a great job blocking the wind, which was the biggest contributor to keeping me warm. I wouldnt say the jacket keeps you warm, but it does create a great seal, which can keep you warm. If it were any colder, I'd probably wear a cardigan underneath.
bYtockThanks sounds like a great jacket. Might be good for me. I usually get hot cuz I have to walk to work, but it keeps the wind out which is a plus cuz it gets windy here.
LEX8888Just came back from a trip to Costa Rica. Wore this during a light to medium sprinkle and it is definitely NOT waterproof, at least not fully. After about 10 mins of being in the rain, water started seeping through. I wouldn't recommend wearing this in sustained rain fall.
thanks
