i have half a dozen condors and the same number of beckers. the beckers demonstrate consistently better fit and finish and more importantly thinner more acute primary grind bevels which makes slicing and deep cuts in wood easier. It's also easier to sharpen thinner edges. I trust the heat treat on beckers more. I like condors and they give you a huge amount of steel for the price and I don't know how they can supply top quality leather sheaths with even their cheapest machetes, but beckers beat condor in overall quality, performance and durability (my condor parang is a 1/4" thick but still snapped in half on the first strike--something I have never seen reported with beckers). Also the handle ergonomics are always a selling point for becker even if a little slippery. Condor handles are roughly finished--wood over steel and sanded with a medium coarse belt sander into a tubular shape.

lobsterI would agree that the bk's definitely have the better steel, but not by a wide margin. You wont break a Condor or a ka-bar and yes the beckers will hold their edge better but the condor will be easier to take to razor sharpness. Check out the micarta line from Condor. I would take the handle of the warlock over any becker scale which are inferior to scales on kives half the price imo.

bedpI like the Becker handles better than the Warlok's handle (it feels like it wants to fly/slide out of my hand). The balance of the Warlok is like that of a brick. I had it and sold it. The Condor Bushcraft Prang, on the other hand, has a ergonomical handle and a nice balance. Though there are plenty that do like the Warlok ofcourse. I really like the BK21 myself, it's a piece of art as well as an efficient chopper of branches and zombie's(watch the ZGB BK21 video , on YouTube).
