What is so special about these towels? Costco tends to have a great deal on rags and I feel at peace when I use and abuse my kitchen towels.

LinguitarHi Linguitar - in addition to being 100% cotton, which is pre-washed for both shrinkage and softness, the basket weave towel included in the set (3 of the 6) are super absorbent as well as fast drying, owing to the actual weave itself. From personal experience, for both the flat weave and basket weave, when I wash and then throw them in the dryer, they come out as good as new. Mine have been used and abused and still work as new.
