Interesting that the cost per switch is higher for the additional 40 to go from 70 to 110 at the lowest drop price.
If I did my math right, it's $20 divided by 70 switches = $0.28 per switch,
and $29 divided by 110 = $0.26 per switch
Yeah thats at the initial price drop but the lowest price drop is 14.99 for 70 switches and 9 to add 40 switches.
Hopefully they adjust that when it hits lowest price.
Even at the lowest point, the price per is $0.214 for 70 and $0.218 for 110. They likely made $+9 so they didn't have to add some obscure ass number like $8.56-$8.57, which is what the price of 40 more switches would be at $0.214.
Very Likely, but I was just pointing out that it is more expensive. Ideally we would see a price break per switch if we are buying 110 vs 70. For example had the price been 8 dollars to add on instead of 9 .
Right that's understandable. Unfortunately, there's a limit to how low it can go, no matter how much you buy.
I haven't checked shipping price yet, but if you're willing to wait the shipping time, this is a better deal by a few dollars.

For sure it is a good price and Novelkeys has confirmed they are handling the drop so the vendor behind massdrop is also good.
On KBDfans it's $21 for 70 switches ($0.30 per switch) and free shipping over $40. Seeing as I'm buying a PCB there I'm just going to skip MD this time. That site's good though if you only want like 10 switches
Yeah if you are getting something else Kbdfans is the bomb (probably my favorite vendor). I am trying to hold off until blackfriday so I can use his coupon code.
be careful with the free shipping it's not ensured and there's no tracking..i'm buying a diy kit and switches and a bunch of other things..$211 in total.. damm.. lot's of goodies there but i read on their site just above the switch gif this text..
Free shipping through 4PX, or paid shipping with FedEx or DHL ePacket time is not guaranteed and is uninsured. We are not responsible for any products lost during transit that are shipped through 4PX.
so i'n not going to risk a $200 order for $15 ..but i guess for $21 you can risk it..
They do say that but Wei is also a very generous and helpful man. Contact him if you ever have an issue and he will surely help you out.
Thanks i just did and asked him if there is an option to send my $200 +order insured with free shipping..to be honnest i was always under the assumption that after a certain amount say $50 or $100 you would get free shipping but will see..
