Kailh Box V2 Custom Mechanical Switches

Just launched, the Kailh Box V2 Custom Mechanical Switches deliver newly upgraded reliability for a longer lifespan—available in three satisfying feels. The clicky White version requires a moderate 55 grams of actuation force with solid travel, while the linear Red option is a bit more sensitive; requiring 45 grams of force required on each actuation. The Brown is the boldest of the bunch with a notable tactile bump and 75 grams of force required with each keystroke. All three keys offer 15 grams of rebound for a nice subtle bounceback and 3.6 millimeters of travel for a shorter-than-average round trip. The V2 Custom switches deliver a more robust and reliable typing experience than the original V1, thanks in part to the newt, gold-plated springs and bigger enclosure construction. And because they’ve been stress-tested up to 80 million actuations, you can be sure the durability is there, too.
