The only clicky switch that I've found that is comparable is the old White Alps that I have in my Focus FK-2001. If you want something comparable in a modern board, then this would likely be your best introduction to more tactile and pronounced switches. Even my IBM Model M doesn't scratch the same itch that these magnificent switches do. They are easily worth every cent and are definitely worth trying out if you can find a pack of 10 somewhere. They also make great fidget toys for fun and gifts.
(I got the pro purples) These are my current switches I'm using (I haven't done anything to them because Kailhs are so annoying to open) and they sound really good. I'd recommend these if you are a beginner and don't want to lube right away or something.
Wanted to venture off into the clicky world and very happy I did. These switches are very exciting to type on! Very crisp and sharp tactility with ASMR worth audible "click." The Navy's might be on the heavy side for extensive typing but perfect for those with heavy hands or those who prefer more resistance from their switch. No need to take apart and lube these, just plug and play!
I ordered Speed Gold switches with my Drop CTRL board and it's a fantastic lightweight yet premium-feeling clicky option for gaming. It is very responsive and the click is crisp with a much better sound and defined tactile event compared to a Cherry MX Blue
I have an audio-processing issue in my noggin, so my experience may not line up with yours. I LOVE the sound from these- keeps me focused on what I'm doing. I also find I am more accurate and faster with a tactile switch, so, so far- this is my favorite switch.
