By far my favorite clicky switch. The tactility and sound that comes from these are like no other. I may not be able to go back to pure tactiles again! If you like heavy springs, big ass tactile bump, and clickies, this is the one for you, my friend.
After trying several other clicky tactile switches, I decided to give the Box Jades a shot. Typing on them is smooth as butter. They produce a satisfying click sound without rattling. Not recommended for workplaces though, unless, you're sitting alone in your office!
Great product.
I purchased the Box Jade switches after trying out an assorted pack. These are the best Cherry-style clicky switch out there. I am loving them and I don't normally enjoy clicky switches. They are crisp with a pleasant lower tone, without the pierce of a cheaper blue switch. If I'm going to use a clicky switch, it going to be a buckling spring in my IBM Model M or my keyboard with these. Nothing else compares.
These were my first clicky switches, and they did not disappoint. I now have to close my door when my family is around because they are so loud. That is exactly what I wanted, though, so 10/10
My daily driver keyboard before ordering these was a keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switches. I do like the clacking and tactile feel but these switches are a fun and nice difference from what I'm used to feeling and hearing. They have a sort of muted clunk sound (it's hard to describe well) and they have a great force required to push they key down fully. They are responsive and most importantly I still get the feel of it being mechanical but not the clicking that would keep anyone awake while typing.
Great for Gaming and even better if you take the time to lube them up, but remember these are extremely sensitive switches and even resting your hands on the keyboard could lead to inputs you don't want, but if you are mainly gaming or even an extremely accurate typist you cant go wrong with these. I personally use these for gaming and place these in my quick input areas like my wasd keys, arrow keys and my top number row to keep things quick and fast and then a slightly heavier Aqua king switch to fill out the rest of my keyboard.
