purplestoneI prefer the Kailh blue to Cherry Mx Blues. I know I'm very much going against the grain here, but I've been using Cherry Mx keyboards for years, and I own both the most current iterations of the Corsair K70 RGB (in Cherry Mx Blues) and a Razer Chroma (Kailh Blue/Razer Greens). In short, the Kailh Blue switches are bliss to type on. The tactile actuation is shorter and ever so slightly earlier, giving the feeling of a more precise keypress. Immediately switching over to the Cherry Mx Blue in comparison, feels noticeably more mushy (despite this being a key switch that I've been very satisfied with for years). Additionally, the Cherry switches in general (red, brown and blue) have a lot of runout (deviation from the concentric center), which isn't really something I noticed until I started using the Kailh switches, which have a much tighter deviation. Overall, this gives me a lot of inner conflict, because I'm one who has always tended towards the tried and true Cherry switches, but I have to hand it to Kailh here--they took something that works and made it better.
I haven't been able to use any other Kailh switch colors (and I don't really care to anyway because I prefer the tactile Cherry Mx Blues and Greens the best), but I imagine my sentiments would be the same. Kailh switches are also rated for 50M actuations over the 20M of the Cherry Mx switches.
