I'm worried that the vendor is re sealing packs after opening them for value and taking all the value out of the box.

Deathbycards200There's really no reason for this to take this long, but the amount of time it's taking would be explained if the vendor was opening the boxes, taking out critical cards, covering it up with cards of lower value, and resealing them. They sure had more than enough time to do it.

Deathbycards200If the boxes are tampered with, it's very apparent. I wouldn't worry about that at all.

Deathbycards200This is not happening. If you don't open a Masterpiece or a Chandra, it's not because they searched the box and somehow managed to reseal it perfectly. If your box isn't wrapped in Wizards-branded wrap, then you can start to worry. The boxes aren't being tampered with.

Deathbycards200What do you mean? They're not taking the Chandras and Masterpieces out of the boxes. You have not lost the opportunity.

devon.caldwellWell, we will have to see when we get our boxes, which i will remind you a lot of us haven't received an update since the drop went through. We understand that packs are a gamble and not everyone wins, we ultimately want our packs or at least a solid update on what the situation is. As a side note, I'm sure the people who joined this drop would gratefully appreciate an apology for the late drop, or at least those that haven't heard anything.

Deathbycards200We don't know for sure whether this company is currently committing a felony, no, but it also shouldn't be a concern you have. Again, if your box arrives and isn't sealed with Wizards-branded wrap, immediately call Massdrop and arrange a refund. Otherwise, just believe this was logistically a nightmare for the distributor and they're just trying to organize 1500+ boxes for us.

Deathbycards200Good news is even if you don't open one... chances are you'll be able to buy one at a good price online. Her value is dropping like a rock.

devon.caldwellDevon, I can see on your profile you've only purchased this drop so i assume you are unaware at how rare this is for massdrop. This incredibly fishy and unlike most that have happened previously. It is honestly concerning that it's taking this long to even give us tracking numbers and not even ship more then 1/6th of the products almost a week after the estimated shipping days.

MatzazI have purchased multiple times from Massdrop, this is just a new account for me. This is indeed the first time I've encountered any sort of problem, it is incredibly rare and I'm frustrated as well. I'm just trying to quell the conspiracy theorists in here.
But the real fear should be that the distributor overcommitted and was forced to back-order boxes, leading to further delays. Any fear of the boxes being opened, the value being taken, and then being resealed and shipped is illogical. Not only is this practice illegal, but highly difficult and not worth the time and effort.

devon.caldwellI'm with you on that Devon. It's easy to tell if a box has been tampered with. Check that plastic wrap for the Wizards logo! I also believe they don't have the stock to send out, and if that's the case Massdrop NEEDED to tell us and issue refunds immediately if requested. As I mentioned earlier I had issues with my last drop taking almost a month before I was allowed to cancel. In that situation the vender didn't have the stock, but Massdrop just kept saying "Almost there! Orders will ship soon!" Anyways, I don't suspect any kind of tampering, just pure incompetence.
