Super fast fun way to shoot
I love how this brings back the feeling of when you were still fresh into the hobby. It's really great at making you focus more on taking fun shots rather than making sure focus and exposure are just right.

Sharp and Fun!
A very good manual lens for portraits IMHO. Sharp on the center.

A good cheap option for a super-fast nifty fifty. It pairs well with a small mirrorless (A6300 in my case) to create a low-profile on-the-go kit, excellent for lowlight. Bokeh quality is good, and it is fairly sharp stopped down. Focus throw is fairly long, so I haven't had a problem finding focus even at f1.1. All in all, it's a good, cheap, manual lens.

Great lens. You don't really see f/1.1 lenses at this price point too much. Being a really fast lens for a good price makes it really useful and fun to use. Paired with a plastic extension tube, this lens can become a really exceptional macro lens, with really small minimal focal distance, and beautiful bokeh. At 50mm, its also a great a lens for shooting portraits. It has a smooth aperture ring (no clicks), which can make it really useful for video work as well. This is one of my favorite lenses right now, especially considering the price point.
