Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

It's not a worry at all.
As already mentioned, the foam grip on the bottom of the S2's is more than sufficient to keep these stands stationary even with very low frequencies, so glass tables, wood tables, brick tables....have at er. We've put these stands through the ringer at our head office and have tested numerous setups without any hiccups.
Hope this helps,
Weight shouldn't be an issue, however the dimensions of the YU5 would be a bit "awkward" for this type of stand. The YU5 cabinets are a bit deeper than we suggest which would make the setup a bit "front heavy" and dare I say, slightly unstable. Also, due to the size of the units, the 16 degree angle really wouldn't be necessary for a much larger unit. For desktop applications with this product, I wouldn't bother going much larger than our YU3 speakers.
Side Note - As these are our first desktop speaker stands, I have no doubt that our product design team will be looking to introduce many other speaker accessories, including larger and even heavier duty stands for different applications. For now, we will be releasing our new line of floor stands (SP26) in the next 1-2 weeks designed specifically with our YU5 and YUMI products in mind.
Thanks,
