I received it today. I don't have the luxury of testing out the product in particular because I bought it under the impression it would arrive prior to the 25th for a reason. But suffice to say, I did not find anything related to the: - $10 iTunes gift card - $10 Massdrop credit Within the box.

NorzaSame here. The speakers seem decent but so far I'm getting the impression that the highs are a bit muddy compared to OLD no name speakers I was using.
I did not receive any gift card or mass drop credit either.

kkjjn0000I carefully popped it open and decided to give it a go. To me, it sounds all around odd. I'm used to the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 and use AD700X open cans. I thought the sound wasn't clean and congested with a lot of air. In this one song, there is supposed to be a guitar playing a solo lightly in the background, but I failed to hear the individual notes on these speakers. Compared to what I am used to, a lot of fine detail is not present.

NorzaMy impression is similar. I am a fan of detail oriented speakers/headphones and this speaker just sound plain muddy even compared to the speakers I was using - vintage CD player speakers purchased maybe 20 years ago for classical music. Also on some songs, I am noticing a rattle on the left speaker (the one with power/volume control). I think I'll give it a few days before I decide to return or exchange. Lately, items I got from Massdrop have been defective in one way or another.
I just found the itunes gift card in the email also. Must have skipped it. LOL I have no idea what I can do with it....
