How are these speakers with the bass? Obviously, they're not going to be room-shaking, but how are they relative to the other frequencies? Because I have a pair of Bose Companion 2's, and their bass is just way too bloated with respect to the rest of the spectrum. I'll have the volume to what seems to be a respectable level when the vocals are on, but when the bass kicks in, the bass is just way too loud. Are the Kanto's considered more "balanced" in that regard or... ?

fuzzybaffy,
I was going to wait for someone else to reply but I'll add my two cents. YU2's are not bass heavy speakers, you will not find the bass to be bloated. I would not consider them to be "balanced" as the midrange is more pronounced than the rest of the audio spectrum. With that being said they are a lot more neutral than the Bose Companion 2's mainly because our speakers actually have a tweeter!

Thank you! Seems like there's a long way to go until 200 requests, so I might have to pick these up on Amazon... no biggie for me.
