FaceMcBashyi find it very annoying as it turns off only when streaming media on a website. i have reached out to Kanto to take these back and get me a set without or I will return them and get some yamaha or edifier studio speakers
Did anyone who bought these bluetooth Kantos buy the Simple Audio Listen speakers originally? If so, I'm curious how the Kantos compare (favorably to the SALs, I hope).

Final10@Final10 The YU3's have a switching power supply that can accept 110V-240V at 50Hz or 60Hz, as long as you buy the correct figure-8 power cable you'll be good to go.
These are great speakers. Own a pair myself. Great for a bedroom. The AptX technology bluetooth is more marketing than anything (not Kanto's fault). AptX has to be on BOTH sides, so even if Kanto has it, your computer or other device has to have it too (PC though is an easy fix since AptX dongles can be purchased for USB port). AptX is a great technology, in theory ,to bring the audio to a higher level than usual for bluetooth, but AptX to this day isn't still really highly adopted --even by "enthusiast" products (though I believe newer top shelf Android devices are starting to carry it). So just be aware of this. This aside, the speakers ROCK and you'd be hard pressed to find a great sounding speaker with so many connectivity options. I use mine connected via optical cable straight into the Apple router's optical port for iPad Airplay (this gives higher sound quality for streaming than bluetooth). I also use the basic bluetooth to connect to my LG G3 phone as well and it sounds just fine. Also remember that basic bluetooth has some lag (that AptX doesn't), so if you're streaming Netflix you'll see lips mismatch to the audio coming out. Always try to plug a wire straight in or go the Apple Router way for top wireless sound and no lag. The tiny router costs about $100 (it's all I use it for in slave/repeater mode).
