Got mine connected to the PC, gold speaker cable in the red input, silver in the black, powered on, 3.5mm-to-RCA cable running from the computer to the back of left speaker (same cable I was using successfully on my MV-40s).
No sound. Blue light is on, can't get any output. Help?

JoshuaMunozit sounds like the the issue is you have it hooked up wrong. if you have it hooked up directly to the RCA from the 3.5mm and no DAC between then there is nothing to convert the (0s and 1s) signal to an analog signal from your computer. Use one of the other inputs on the speaker and you should be fine. if you want to use the RCA inputs then you're going to need a DAC

JaseJoshuaYou dont need a DAC when you use the 3.5mm output as that is an analog output port. The computer is the "DAC". His hookup should be working fine.
The problem will either be: 1) the speakers volume knob is turned down 2) the computers audio output is turned down 3) the computer is not set to output audio via the 3.5mm audio port and is probably set to HDMI or Optical instead 4) the speakers are DOA.

EniGmA1987Unless it's volume knobs being turned down, it's probably DOA. The OP had MV-40s connected previously so hopefully he did tell the PC to use the 3.5mm audio port as the audio output. But then, maybe not.
