I bought these last time they dropped (Matte Grey = BEAUTIFUL. Will post a few pics soon). I'm constantly impressed with the performance, aesthetics, and functionality. If you need a million input options for a home theater setup, you'll want to go for a dedicated receiver and non-powered speakers. But if you're looking for simplicity, quality sound, great aesthetics, and solid functionality (two digital inputs, one 3.5mm aux, one RCA, plus the added bonus of built-in bluetooth!), I highly recommend these.
Side note: I paired mine with the JBL SP150 150-watt sub and it is a SWEEEEET combination. Available for $100-$120 here: http://amzn.com/B00DUHW6UW
