Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Pros: -Great Mid and High Tones -Good Bass Tones -Solid, high quality construction -Kevlar woofers and matte gray finish is a great look -Remote is awesome for adjusting sound and switching from one connection to the other.
Cons: -They're Large: This could be viewed as a con, but I like the look. And it feels you're really getting what you paid for. -Bass could be improved: For those that want more of a Movie Theater rumble. Still good bass by themselves. -Connectivity distance: After about 20-25 Feet, connection with my iPhone 6S started to fade, though my set up involves direct connection or fairly close bluetooth connections, so for me this isn't an issue.
Conclusion: They were worth every penny. They sound great and look high end and have great construction. Just buy them!
