I don't get this. When I joined my understanding was that Drop partners with manufacturers to lock-in lower than retail prices by reaching a minimum amount of orders thereby passing on the savings of economies of scale. This just looks like Drop is a regular online e-commerce reseller, and a more expensive one at that, at least here in Canada. $360US + shipping + customs would easily amount to over $500CAD, and these units are selling for $420-440CAD on other sites.

r2walterYou joined well after Massdrop was a thing. The original concept doesn't exist, really. Now it's mostly specialty products with some other items thrown in.
