So after a few hectic months of moving into a new place, getting a new position at work, and having my truck stolen I finally got around to unpacking my Yuri sub and I have to say I'm not impressed with Kanto's QC at all. First things first, in the 5 weeks since it arrival it has been sitting in the spare bedroom of my mom's house in a dry climate controlled environment. First thing I noticed when unboxing the sub was the paint chipping at the top rear of the housing and when pulled out of the box the entire bottom portion has considerable water damage resulting in a bloated and warped cabinet. Can definitely say this will weigh in on any future purchases from kanto in the future. As a side note the Yumi powered speakers that I bought at the same time and came in a few weeks earlier are beautiful in looks and sound and also arrived in perfect condition so this is probably not a typical thing from kanto and is just my own bad experience.
