Second of these pens I've bought.
For me, this pen is ol' reliable. They work like tanks, they are easy to maintain, and there are parts for them everywhere. This is the ultimate everyday carry pen. the only thing that drives me nuts about these pens is that the clip is not reliable. It will slide all over your pen and scuff it up if you're not careful.

Got my first Kaweco from Massdrop on this drop and love it! noticed the difference from my cheap pens with the first touch of nib to paper.
Kinda wish I'd gone with another color but chose the traditional raw aluminum and sport clip.

The threads on the cap seem to have become misaligned with the pen thread and now the cap no longer screws onto the pen. This has made the pen un-carryable. I contacted Kaweco In hope to get it repaired, but informed me that it may be counterfeit as massdrop is NOT an authorized retailer of Kaweco. I would have rather paid the extra cash to get something that would have been covered and more likely legitimate. The discount isn’t enough to suffice for these issues.

Very smooth writer. Mine had a slight baby's bottom that I had to smooth out. Other than that, it is extremely tough, however the cartridge can come loose if the pen is dropped. Also the color descriptions were somewhat hard to understand @massdrop outside of those issues, this pen is extremely well behaved and has a very consistent ink flow as well as having a very usable size, especially for A pocket pen.

Smooth writer that is very reliable. A little small for me but I'm not one who is comfortable with putting a pen in my suit jacket or shirt pocket. They don't dry out easily so that is a good thing.

I have several Kaweco AL Sport pens. The AL Sport is a terrific small pen that easily fits into a pocket or purse. It’s a perfect every day carry pen. They can be a bit wet, particularly the broader nibs, to me that’s a plus. I’ve never run across one that didn’t write well regardless of the nib. I think they’re very reliable and I recommend them but with one caveat, if you have a large hand this might not be the pen for you. Luckily I have a small hand so the pen is right for me.

The brass body is fabulous — great heft, looks beautiful, makes a great everyday carry — but the 1.1 nib it came with has the worst case of baby’s bottom I’ve ever seen. It’s incredibly frustrating. I’ve tried to fix it a few different ways and nothing has worked. I’ve had this pen for six months now and while it sometimes works, sometimes it just won’t cooperate at all, regardless of what ink I’m using. I hate that I’m going to have to pay more for a replacement nib.

The is a great little pen. I’ve been a fan of Kaweco pens for years now, but this also comes with a nice heft to it. I have both the brass and aluminum models, and prefer the latter, as the aluminum model is lighter, and frankly brass tends to have a bit of an odor. Both write very nicely, especially if you clean and flush the pen before using the first time. It‘s a rare day I leave the house without a Kaweco or two in my pocket or backpack! Now, if only we could get a drop on the Kaweco Art Sport pens - truly exceptional pens.
