This is one of the best pens for its price I have seen ever. Absolutely recommended

dedalianHi, can you elaborate? My other reference at this price point is the Pilot Custom Heritage 91, which seems to be similar, but with a 14k nib and rhodium plating (instead of chrome). I've also been looking at Italix pens, which seem to be a little cheaper, but comparable in quality. to this one. What makes this model excellent at this price range?

RedbaaronAround where I live this is about 30% cheaper than the Pilot and there is no pen with a gold nib at its price range. Of course the pilot is an absolute gem. I have been trying to get some better pilots on massdrop for quite some time. I even started a poll but to no avail. That aside I have had no problems with this pen and prefer it over pens three time the price. Also this pen seems quite a bit more sturdily built compared to the pilot. (I am comparing with the 92 )

I’ve been lusting after the Dia 2 for some time now, so i‘m not disparaging it in any way. But I wanted to point out that I own two Italix pens (both Parson’s Essentials) and they are excellent pens at fair prices. You wouldn’t go wrong adding one to your collection.
