I put this keyboard together yesterday. It looks great and it feels well built. I haven't had a chance to use it for an extended period. So far the cherry browns feel nice (I've never used that switch before). I also used bandaids for my stabs which really does make them quieter.
I like my keycaps but they are not complete. I need a smaller 1U alt and a right shift -- something else to buy.
As always, the firmware is a pain in the ass on MacOS. Once you get it programmed, you're fine, but actually getting the flasher software to recognize your keyboard is hit or miss. I ended up having to program it using my Windows PC even though I plan on using it only on MacOS. Just a word of warning if you only have access to Macs.

bboltnCan't you use Karabiner to recognize and remap the keys?

bboltnNot sure why you're having issues. I've been flashing QMK onto my keyboards using macOS for over a year now. The only issues are with the Catalina bootloaders (ProMicro, etc), but even those aren't too difficult anymore with the newer versions of QMK. A simple `make keyboard:keymap:avrdude` will take care of it pretty easily. Once the script gets to the point of running avrdude, you can just jump the reset and ground and it'll flash as soon as the MCU gets into bootloader mode.
And even then if you're still having issues, there's r/olkb to the rescue. :-)

XyverzI'm not sure why I'm having much trouble either. I think it's partly due to documentation being scattered across reddit posts and github. It's hard to know if I've done the correct steps. So if you had a good guide that would be really helpful.
The actual issue I'm having is the flashing software does not see the keyboard. I click the reset button on the PCB and sometimes (seems random) the flasher software will see the keyboard.

bboltnI am having a similar issue using this keyboard with a mac - I cannot seem to get it to recognize the Tab row of keys, and my function keys are backwards. I have reflowed all solder/have a lot of experience soldering together projects, and im nearly sure this isnt the problem. Would you be available to help me troubleshoot my keyboard for Mac? I would be more than happy to pay if need be

makingbedsYou may want to ask this question in /r/olkb on Reddit. They'll get you sorted out good. :-)

makingbedsI am having the exact same issue as you. Same row even, the tab row. I tested continuity on every switch, diode, and resistor, still stumped at why that row is dead. I am on Linux, and similar to you as well this isn't my first kit so I don't think it was the solder. I am going to try to re-solder all the switches in that row, but otherwise I am stumped.
