As long as your keycaps include some variations of the bottom row, pretty much every standard MX keycap set should work. This should work with like 99% of the GMK (keycap brand) base kits on the market, and if you select TKL (modifiers) and Alphas (letters) on any cap kits that split them out like that, you should be ok. I'd avoid gaming brand keycap sets as they sometimes have nonstandard bottom rows. Typically caps are measured by U, so 1u is a standard alpha key, 2u might be a longer shift, 6-7u is spacebar size, etc. You can use those measurements to help figure out what caps are compatible for your layout.
One thing to watch out for is some of the current keycap buys on Drop, as they will run some cap sets that only work/work best with the layouts on their CTRL/ALT/1800 boards. They are usually pretty good as long as you're careful with making sure all the keycaps will fit on your board (looking at shift keys and bottom rows in particular), as they don't include a bunch of variants on certain keys (shift, bottom row, etc) like some Base kits will.
Thanks for your advice ! I was woried about keycap profile not matching the row they should be placed for the caps on the far right column (pgup, pgdown, home etc..) and that only "flat" profile like DSA would work. I'll take a look at GMK keycaps then.
Ah yeah, right column profiles are always a little tricky. Start with GMK, you might have good luck with DSA or XDA profiles because their profiles stay the same throughout. Feel free to comment with any cap sets you're interested in I can try to help you through the decision process
Yep! GMK Dark would definitely work for your needs. The one thing that always gets me with groupbuys is when the estimating shipping dates are like 2 months apart haha I have no patience, but yeah that set should definitely match profiles
Yeah that's kind of bugging me.. the ETA for the keycaps set is 2020-06-01 in Europe, I'm not sure I have enough will to wait that long :/
