No coiled cord and they sent non-RGB switches!! They block the LEDs. We'll see how Drop handles this.

I tried this a few times with no luck, but just now did it again and it worked! Not sure what I did different, and it sure is a daunting process the first time, but I seem to have a working keyboard now, yay. BTW, the configurator shows the default layers, which makes it the only place I've found that explains how to modify the RGB.

for rgb you need to use the layer keys on layer 2, or map them to whatever you want

Were all of your guy's packages handled by newgistics? It's been 5 days and I have no updates of where my package is in my own country...

Is it normal that when I plug in the keyboard it makes a high pitched noise? Also my keyboard came with the black DZ60RGBv2 pcb instead of the purple one for some reason. Fits well with the black aluminium case though...

They tried to offer me $10 credit and $5 refund which is completely different from what the information you received. Their customer service is a dumpster on fire.

That sucks. Perhaps the refunds are getting too expensive for them.

I got my board today. No coiled cable just a silver braided cable. Also the instructions from the KBDFans page for layer commands don't work.

Trial a dcerror, I can't really remember but do what Crabbypatty suggests until you configure a reset option in via/qmk.

Should be the reset switch in the middle top of the PCB. You will need the back of case off. Later, you can add a reset key to the firmware you wish to compile if you lack Github fear. There may already be a keystroke combo. Try Fn and Esc.

I still have not received any kind of notification. Shipping, or "Gosh, it will be here someday." Who is in charge of this drop? Please quit you FT!

You should have received a shipping notification. Others below as well as myself have received tracking information. If you haven't, I would contact support. That said, I got the email three days ago and the package has not made it into USPS hands yet. Also weird that the tracking email says that the package is coming from Drop, Shenzhen China. Typically when Drop says that the package is being shipped out, that means that the items have made it to the US and I didn't see anything in description saying they were coming directly from KBDfans. EDIT: I'll leave an update here as the drop managers don't seem to be interested in doing so. Judging by the tracking, it looks like the packages have made it to America. We should be receiving our kits shortly baring any holdups with USPS.

Just got an email from them saying to expect a delay, they don't know how long, but to let them know if you want to cancel your order.

I suppose, having ordered things through Drop for a number of years now is to check in from time to time but never expect it to be as soon as I want. It's actually like Christmas for me when I get it then, very exciting.
