Hey just got mine today (Red switches with blank caps) I've never owned a mechanical keyboard before and was wondering is the space bar/left shift key supposed to be a little more difficult to press. by difficult I mean are they supposed to have more resistance when being pressed? (opposed to the other keys having what feels like less resistance) It may be just because they're bigger keys compared to the others. They work fine they type and everything just making sure they aren't broken/breaking and thats normal (also do these keyboards have warranties?)

syphezThis is most likely due to the stabilizers (which might act differently with a different type of lubrication than what the manufacturer put on them), I think that this keyboard is using the Cherry Corp ones (There are also Costar stabilizers). You can see what the stabilizers look like here -
search

the plastic piece on each side of the middle switch is the stabilizer. If you are unhappy with how they feel it might be worth looking into a guide on re-lubricating them, there is also a more permanent mod which clips certain part of the stabilizers to give them when they hit the bottom more similar to the other non-stabilized keys (the main complaint against this type of stabilizer. Just be careful if you decide to remove one of the stabilized keys and take a look at Ripster's guides for removing them and lubricating/modding. http://imgur.com/a/nsEDr - Ripster's guide to removing stabilized keys http://imgur.com/a/TpWDP#0 - Ripster's guide to lubricating stabilizers

- You can clip parts of the stabilizer to make them feel more like the Costar Stabiliers (Warning on this one since you can't go back to how you were before the mod and it's pretty involved since you are irreparably changing the stabilizer) So all in all if it's bothering you there are a couple of things you can try to see if it makes those larger keys feel better! Also if you post to www.reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboards you'll probably get even better advice than what I can here.
