Just received it today, kind of disappointed. It's a great numb pad by itself, but I cannot change lighting mode at all, nor the colour of the bottom LED's it's just stuck on red. Unless anyone has suggestions I will probably end up removing the bottom LED's. I am aware that this would be done with the F1-F3 keys.

are you doing F2+F1 and F2+F3? Each key individually doesn't toggle lighting mode, F2 must be held down along with one of the other F keys.

Yeah, I've read something like that, unfortunately that does not work either. Thank you for the reply though.

Addition: The Esc-F3 keys do not get recognised by either PassMark keytest or SharpKeys, which is unfortunate, I'm thinking this probably is a result of duplicates, however I'm not sure.

dunno about those, but using keyboardtester.com, the Esc key gets recognized as Esc, F1 as F5, and F3 as backspace. From everything you said so far, it just sounds like you have a defective numpad/top row

What does F2 get recognised as for you? Maybe I can control the lighting through the keys on my keyboard? (Wishful thinking) It's just the top row that isn't working then, which I can live with.

F2 doesn't get recognized as anything, it is a custom modifier for the LEDs (hence why LED mode switching only works by holding down F2 in conjunction with F1/F3).

Alright, thank you for your help. Unfortunate it's defective, but it still serves it's purpose, so I'll probably try replacing the switches at some point, otherwise removing the LED's if it's doable.
