I got this because Kinetic Labs was out of theirs and I had some Drop credit. This is next to useless for me, even basically free. Like everyone else mentions, you can find similar for less $$ elsewhere. And you should, because if you look closely at the bottom portion of this holder it's almost impossible to align your keyboard so that at least two keys are constantly pressed when sitting in the holder. It's a terrible design and mine is going to wind up going in the garbage. I guess if you have some WKL boards you want to store on this, it may work, otherwise pass.
This is a solid stand and attractive enough. For thicker keyboards and/or those with tall keycaps, the caps may be depressed somewhat when stored this way but not a lot. I doubt it would cause any serious effect on the caps or the springs.
Get this on sale and it's a good price. A bit much for full retail, but they've at least considered that keyboards will be going on this and provide nice pads and sticky grip to keep things from sliding around and in place.
It does its job perfectly, its super simple to put together! Only gripe i have is you have to cut rubber strips that come in the box and put it on the stand so ur keyboards dont slide, if u cut it unevenly no one will really notice but i can see it bothering alot of people if its not done evenly
