Made of strong, lightweight titanium, the Keith Ti6053 set can be used over an open fire when camping, backpacking, and hiking. The three pieces in this set function as fry pans with foldable stainless steel handles, as well as bowls ranging in capacity from 16.9 ounces to 23 ounces Read More
The only reason 4 stars because it's "made in China" and not consider very thick, price still expensive. Delivery to oversea still cheaper.Have to use with care cause it's thin wall
Titanium isn't as effiCient as stainless at heat distRibution, so you'll get hot spots if you cook in these. It Also isn't the best Possible material for heat retention, so drink your coffee or soup fast...
Poor finish quality - I had to dig out my rotary tool with a sanding wheel to de-burr the rolled edges on the pan. The "cups" weren't much better, but I only needed to buff them some fine sand paper on those. Seems manufacturing was trying to rush these out of production instead of taking a little time to address these problems.
The included mesh bag is too small to fit all three pieces. Shipping time was truly a let down compared to other MassDrops and Amazon/Ebay. Buyer beware.
WonkwonkI'll tell you what...I'll sell it to you for what I paid plus shipping and my opinion...then tell me if this junk is "favorable". I'll stick with my stainless MSR kit - a few ounces heavier...and tons of better quality.
This is a fantastic set for a solo trip. Solid construction and they fit as lids on one one another well enough. For an affordable functional light weight set this is it. An 8 ounce fuel canister, a BRS-3000t stove, and a box mini also all fit inside the pots and in the bag. I usually only bring the two pots.
