When you have experienced how it works... it works well. I mainly use it at home.

It seems to work as intended.
Nothing wrong with it.
But I should have asked myself "How often do I find myself cooking rice?" before buying it.
I probably avoided the question because it looked too "neat" to risk talking myself out of getting it. :-)
I've only used it a couple times so far but... someday.
Pretty amazing for what it does. Ultralight purists will probably find this too heavy as they just need something to boil water to rehydrate the dehydrated food packs. However, if you enjoy cooking and like to experiment by mixing different things like rice and jerky, you won't find a more versatile cook pot at this weight anywhere.
Great way to have rice cooked properly. 1st. When it arrived I washed it and then tried it on the electric stove and it worked OK. 2nd time was on my single burner camping stove ( Pocket Rocket ) and it worked like a champ. The base being smaller/narrower then a standard cooking pot needs a more compact flame to really make the cooker shine. When the steam starts you can adjust the flame really low to continue cooking helping to save fuel.
Very light weight, solid construction, and very handy for cooking in the bush. I've used it backpacking and Kayak camping and its big enough to make rice for group, or nice pot of soup, the tight seat allows it to cook faster than a regular cooking pot. Also because of the solid fasteners, you can store match's lighters, spices etc inside of the cooker and the top stays snapped down. Great piece of gear.
I am extremely happy with this cooker! I'm not just cooking one thing at a time. If i didn't c this on Massdrop, i know i never would've paid what others r asking for it. 😉😀👍✌
Love mine; I use it to steam my rice, meat and veggies. Then poor a sauce over the top. Easy as and tasty as. I just need to fine tune my alcohol burner to make it better. The gas stove gets a little much over the time of cooking
This gear for me at least was a pleasent sorprise, I really didn't had great expectations on how will work or if this will work, but, again I was wrong on my first impressions, this actually work really really good, you can use this for cook rice (yes, it works), and also as a Hoven or pressure cook, and it's really welll made, this actually will last with minimal care.
Totally recommended, specially for the versatility and the habilita to cook real food instead of just heat water and soak food on that like most of the time hikers do.
