My issue with Massdrop is that they shipped this product via DHL. The product arrived in Canada customs on 4 Sep 2018 amd a week later still shows at the local distribution center. This is the worst ecommerce company I have experienced in Canada. Perhaps I will receive it in another week or so.

That rubber won’t last long around the fire. Probably have no issues with a gas or twig stove.

Can you explain why? The rubber handle covers could get burned off with an intense fire, but the handles will remain functional. They may be hot as with other pots, but one could use a tool to grab them. I can't think of any reason why one wouldn't use titanium cookware on a fire. It will change to rainbow hues, and the bottom might warp somewhat, but I suppose that would happen with a gas burner too. The pot should never wear out. I am interested in your perspective.

inventbotI just checked and the handle covers are silicone, which makes sense. They should therefore have pretty good heat resistance. So, I imagine that unless the flames are getting high enough to reach them, they should hold up just fine.
