Hey all, I was playing with this tent and figured you could easily get it under 5 pounds by not using the supplied stuff sacks (2.5 oz), replace the stakes with Dutchgear UL Titanium Stakes (3.5 oz down to 1.3oz), and switching out the guyline for some 2mm reflective glowire from Lawson Equipment. Pretty easy upgrades/adjustments to make.
@Bengk and @dcm3000 - I hear you. It's not the lightest tent, but I am working hard to get lighter gear on Massdrop. That being said, this is a true 3-person tent due to the ample floor space and vertical walls. For comparison, Big Agnes tents are very light and well respected, yet most people tend to size up because the tents feel pretty cramped. Thanks for your opinion and making Massdrop even better.

DannyMilksI own the Kelty TN3, just over 5 pounds for a full featured 3 person tent that packs really well is not bad. This is a palace for 2 people. Keep in mind this is not a single wall tent, it's a free standing tent. I did replace the tie outs with lash-it and made cuban stuff sacks for the rainfly and tent body that enables the tent to be split between two hikers.
