Handcrafted in Russia exclusively for Massdrop, this special-edition Kennerton Vali combines striking aesthetics with a lively, natural sound. The ear cups are made of sapele wood, coated first with natural oil and then with natural beeswax, and complemented by a silver frame and honeycomb grilles. Made of soft lambskin leather, the headband (adjustable both vertically and horizontally) and large ear pads offer a comfortable, supportive fit. Inside, the 50-millimeter drivers feature ultra-lightweight paper-composite diaphragms built in collaboration with the award-winning manufacturer, Peerless by Tymphany, to provide excellent sensitivity and reduced resonance and distortion. A detachable mini-XLR cable rounds out the Vali, which comes packaged inside a zippered soft case for convenient transport.
