Got a used pair of the black version at 450 USD. Very good sound, but the black paint is fading and these are uncomfortable. They weigh less than LCD-2, but feels heavier. It's weird that even LCD-2 are much more comfortable, comparing with Vali.
However, I'd love to keep these - every aspect matches my impression of Russia. Now I have a collection of headphones from 12 countries. Cheers!

I am trying to figure out if I should jump into this I have a pair of Audeze EL-8's and Sennheiser HD 6XX Headphones and wonder if these are going to be worth having also.

I really like the way these look. But I'm concerned that so few people are buying in. Is the price point close to something a lot better? I've heard lots of good reviews so I don't understand.

I used to own the original, shortly after they came out ... an excellent headphone .. perfect all rounder .. I'd equate them somewhat ~w the Klipsch Heritage HP-3.
