Color washed out - I'm seriously doubting that these are actually made from actual ebony wood - just dyed/stained some crap wood. Most warped after being exposed for a short time to water. I've got a fairly extensive collection of chopsticks, and these - without reservation - ended up being the greatest disappointment. I have cheap bamboo chopsticks that I would choose to use over these.

MichaelLogueAgreed, experienced the same. Also some light water will begin to warp them, which means they haven't been treated properly either.
MichaelLogueSorry to hear about the warping, that shouldn't have happened. Email us at sales@kentwang.com and we'll send you replacements. We stand behind all our products. Some may experience color leeching out, which is just a natural pigment of the wood. It's completely harmless and we have these food certified by a testing agency. A simple test is to see if they sink in water. Dense hardwoods like ebony do. Sorry we didn't see your comment until now. Massdrop doesn't have a way to notify us of comments, and we've asked them to implement such a feature.

KentWangOutstanding reply from a company. I'm sold. I actually missed the drop but will be ordering a couple of pair at full price because of this.
