I don't know what I expected of a $60 umbrella, but it was definitely not a factory defect.
Overall the umbrella feels nice, even though the core(center) has the same flimsy metal that cheap umbrellas have. Granted the core feels stronger, but still, expected more. The most glaring issue, is the center cap being twisted/off center, which gives an otherwise pretty umbrella a very ugly look.
