SeoulsoulThese are V2's. I own these, and they're really nice looking shoes, but the build quality is pretty poor. I'm happy with my purchase because the ones I bought had raw demin stains on them when I got them, so they offered me 50% off.

kimjongtrillI agree. I recently bought a pair in black and wasn't impressed. The sole seems to be wearing very quickly and I personally don't think the black versions look good at all (in person). Perhaps white may be a better choice if you really want them. I'd buy them for 50% off.. but no more
Size up for sure. These are narrower than Chuck Taylors.
I used to march in marching band, and the look/material look very similar.
