The Kershaw Blur features a 3.4-inch blade made from Sandvik 14c28n stainless steel. Its slightly recurved shape delivers excellent piercing, slicing, and chopping power. Kershaw’s patented SpeedSafe opening system—invented by the Blur's designer Ken Onion—makes it easy to open, too; a small push on the thumb stud will spring the blade rapidly into place. The handle, constructed from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with Trac-Tec grip tape, reduces the folder’s weight and is resistant to scratching. An inset liner lock tucked inside the aluminum scales further accentuates and draws attention to the handle. And thanks to the reversible pocket clip, the knife can be carried tip-up or tip-down.
