Someone sell me this knife. I just don't see why the "Best of Massdrop" component besides the S30V stainless steel with DLC BlackWash coating.

Neblin7Allright ill give it a go. This is the best knife kershaw offers. And with the s30v steel it makes it just as good as some of the Zero tolerence knifes (which the lower priced ones are 170usd). I have a blur with bdz1 steel, so the blade isnt really comparable but i can say the lockup on the knife has worked every time. Never failed to lock. Its pretty light due to the sturdy aluminium and the grip is great due to the inserts. Then id say for this price a knife with a s30v blade is damn good deal. Last thing this combo of s30v blackwash and colored handle is exclusive to this drop. Hope this helped!

Neblin7I own one. It's a great knife. Made in America. Good price for the steel. Extremely sharp and holds an edge well. Looks good. Comfortable to use. Opens very quickly/smoothly. Some guys take out the assisted opening spring and it opens just as quick/smooth. If this is the size knife you're looking for then it's hard to go wrong. Price for these is usually in the $60s. Kershaw carries a lifetime warranty. If you want a slightly smaller knife the benchmade mini grip or spyderco dragonfly 2 are popular and very good.

Neblin7Didn't realize it was limited edition knife. If you want a blur then jump in this drop. It's cheaper than anywhere else. Price may even appreciate.

KaozerYes it did help, thank you very much. I wasn't aware of Kershaws lifetime warranty and I own a few Kershaws.

MrtunaThanks for the input. I love both of the brands you mentioned at the end (Benchmade and Spyderco) and own a couple of each.

Neblin7Some kershaws feel like the cheap chinese knives, like the scallion. The blur feels like better quality. You can tell it's made stateside. It's like most Gerber blades feel like junk, yet I own an original harsey titanium handled airframe that feels very high end. Sometimes this mass manufacturers get one right. No reason for me to get this blur since I own one already. Wish I didn't own one though so I could justify this limited run edition.
