I was about a click away from hitting join now, and decided to check the comments. As a AmazonPrime user this deal is pretty crap for me. Going the Amazon route this time.

iLeicaMikeAmazon Prime makes sense if you like buying things that cost under $35, frequently. It costs $79 (soon to be $99) per year and usual shipping costs if you don't have Prime it's around $6 ($16.50) for shipping. So if you order at least something once a month that is under $35, it makes sense to use Prime. But if you don't, you are overpaying for shipping and giving Amazon the money upfront, also it's forcing you to buy at least 12 to 16 items per year or you are paying WAY too much for shipping.
Why $35? that's when free ground shipping kicks in, but at that price point, Amazon is adding in the shipping to the cost of the unit instead of charging shipping separately.
There are also reports that Prime Member holders are paying more in some cases, so be sure to log out and compare prices in "incognito mode." [1]
Based on the response of this drop, doesn't look a lot of the members use Prime. If you do, awesome, looks like you can get a better deal on Amazon. Thanks for pointing it out to our Massdrop, Amazon Prime Members.
