AmaltoYep, this is definitely better to buy on Amazon if you already have a prime membership.
If you don't, then all you need to do is save 66 cents on 120 transactions and you'll have gotten your value out of the $80 membership fee! :)

MarkBut the whole point of this site is that currently 300 people are coming together as a group purchase to get a better price then normal. But the group price is the same as normal price. It is also $25 on another top linked knife shop off of a google search.

Tofu_HeroI fully agree, this is incredibly disheartening. When I first stumbled upon massdrop I thought it was such a magnificent idea, this shatters that image for me =(. Then again I am new here so I'm hoping this kind of situation does not arise often.

AmaltoAmazon is also a massive corporation, with serious problems with working conditions within it's shipping warehouses that are only just recently coming to light. Don't get me wrong, I use Amazon all the time, but the 66 cents difference is probably worth it to support an awesome startup company like this one, that adds diversity to the marketplace.
