This knife is not as advertised. This is NOT a speedsafe knife. The overall measurements are all wrong also. The advertised overall length is 7.5" and it is actually 6 3/8". Advertised handle length is 4.25" and is actually 3 5/8". The advertised blade length is 3.25" and is actually 2 3/4". So the actual knife is ok and would get a 4 out of 5 stars. This is the 3rd knife drop I've received from massdrop that was not as advertised. I can get over the measurements being wrong but this is not a speedsafe assisted knife as advertised. I've submitted a support ticket and will update with the results.

Gunnersmate2They're giving everyone a $10 refund, and are offering full refunds to anyone who wants it, while also letting you keep the $10. When I saw discussions saying this wasn't a speedsafe, I looked up the proper specs, and so I wasn't surprised by what I got, and quite like it. And I am not a fan of the speedsafe mechanism, so when I saw it *wasn't* speedsafe, that's what sealed the deal for me.
