The largest in Ken Onion’s “Onion” series for Kershaw, the Shallot measures nearly 8 inches long. This version features the same characteristics as its popular predecessors—like a 3.5-inch recurved blade and ergonomic stainless steel handle—but kicks things up a notch with damascus steel. Damascus steel is characterized by distinct banding patterns resembling flowing water and has become known for its strength, edge retention, and aesthetic appeal. The handle, too, has been upgraded with black DLC-coating for added strength and resistance to reflection. And with support for tip-up and tip-down carry, this frame lock is fit for any pocket.
