Designed by Matt Diskin, the Kershaw Deadline sports a futuristic two-toned look and a utilitarian blade shape. The 3.25-inch wharncliffe is super easy to control—and easy to sharpen, too, thanks to the corrosion-resistant 8Cr13MoV stainless steel construction Read More
I like the blade design, but that handle design is terrible. If there is a way to change the handle scales to something lighter and smoother, like carbon fiber or G10 without the pattern or finger lumps, it would be welcomed.
I bought this thing knowing I didn't really like the handle, and that I might not be able to flip it all the way open reliably. I just really like Wharncliffes. Lo and behold, I don't like the handle, and I haven't found a way to reliably open it with just the flipper tab. This knife has never seen the inside of my pocket, where my sadly discontinued, assisted-opening Kershaw Needs Work resides.
