Guess I should mention this here. I was part of the Drop in October 2015 and received the knife without issue. Since then I haven't carried it that much and it set in the drawer with the rest of my collection. Recently though I pulled it out and was showing it to someone and the safety button broke off at the spring loaded part.Dealing with warranty process now, guess we'll see how that goes.
I know you get what you pay for but I guess I was hoping for more out of this China Kershaw. I was looking forward to the button lock feature but the open/close action on mine is stiff and gritty and no amount of breaking in or oiling has helped. The assist spring inside also rattles like crazy - more than any of my other rattling speed safe kershaws. The knife functions ok but this model was not built with any amount of precision. At least mine is not flat out broken as others have had issues with but I think I'll stick to USA Kershaws from now on and won't get suckered in by the low prices of the imports. I had similar disappointment with the swerve model but in that case the issue was blade play.
Got this knife October 19, 2015. October 24, 2015 the release button was frozen leaving the knife locked in the open position. No amount of wiggling would cause it to release. Very dossappointed because I now have to deal with Kershaw for waraanty on a 6 day old knife that hasn't even cut a pieve of paper yet.
Kershaw Dimension Folder arrived broken today. Blade release button fell right out. I've contacted Kershaw and am sending it back for replacement. Frustrating to receive and have to pay shipping for replacement. Not Massdrop's fault but wanted you to be aware of quality control issue with Kershaw. This knife should never have made it out the door. I'll update with results from Kershaw.
LJFrenchInteresting, release button fell out on my mine as well. I had flipped it open a couple times, but my first time actually using it at work it just fell out by barely pressing it. Since I lost the button completely I was thinking of just trying to get the part from them, but I don't how fixable it is. Will update with results as well, once I contact Kershaw.

Great news! The group’s order was picked up from the vendor and is now on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Given the tracking information provided, our warehouse team expects the shipment to come in by 10/15 and will be ready to get the order repacked and off to you as soon as it comes in.
Occasionally the shipment experiences a delay en route, but rest assured that we will keep the group updated throughout the entire process and let you know if something causes it to be set back.

They are currently preparing the shipment and once we receive it at our warehouse in New Jersey, we’ll separate everything into individual orders and send them out to you!
